By adding a double-height, top-lit clerestory space incorporating a kitchen and meals area and through the reconfiguration of the main internal circulation at the rear of the house, the existing expansive, low-rise 1960s solid brick home was able to be made into a light and open family home with greatly improved outlooks and access through the living areas and into the back yard.
