West Melbourne additions & alterations
Like much of inner Melbourne's older housing stock, this particular project presented us with a house that required some tender loving care, having been extended over the years to create an ad hoc line of rooms off a winding corridor.

The crux of the design brief was to refurbish the original house and create contemporary open plan living spaces that address the rear yard and facilitate an entertainer’s lifestyle.

The typically dark and compartmentalised two-storey Victorian terrace was transformed through the removal of several internal walls, the reorganisation of room functions and the addition of a narrow top-glazed conservatory space.
